Ibuprofen vs Paracetamol for Children’s Pain: What Does New Evidence Say? Researchers also included some acute pain studies from broader age groups when paediatric-relevant safety data could be extracted. The review included 15 studies with a total of 2,847 participants. These studies covered different pain settings, including postoperative pain, musculoskeletal injury, orthodontic pain, and emergency department care.
