A relative sent me a photo of their father's toe last week. They'd run it through Google Lens first. It told them skin cancer, and they panicked. It was a blister. The spot was dark, on the toe, came up overnight. Google Lens matched it to acral lentiginous melanoma, which turns up in exactly these places, the soles, the toes, under the nails. So not an absurd match, and honestly the kind of site where I would take a real dark spot seriously
